The VICA 2x2 Cars Carport is a version of the VICA structure designed to provide four parking spaces with the option of installing 30 photovoltaic panels. The system consists of two double-parking modules positioned side by side and connected by a shared load-bearing beam.
It is a practical solution for residential communities, farms, small businesses and families with several cars. One integrated structure provides shelter for four parking spaces and allows for a single photovoltaic installation with a typical capacity of 12–15 kWp.
The complete set weighs approximately 1331 kg and is delivered by pallet transport to the specified address. Delivery can be arranged directly to the customer or to the construction site. This simplifies on-site project logistics by reducing the need to transfer goods between warehouses and avoiding additional handling operations.
The structure has been designed to withstand wind speeds of up to 28 m/s (100.8 km/h) and snow loads of up to 1.6 kN/m² (approximately 163 kg/m²). These parameters are suitable for conditions found in many locations across Central Europe.
The structure's EXC2 execution class is confirmed by an EN 1090-1 certificate.
The table below presents the key structural, material and panel-mounting parameters, making it easier to verify the specifications when preparing an installation design or commercial offer.

The columns and beams are made from S350GD structural steel, with a minimum yield strength of 350 MPa. The steel components are protected on both sides with a hot-applied Magnelis ZM310 coating containing zinc, 3.5% aluminium and 3% magnesium. The coating is manufactured by ArcelorMittal.
The clamps and fittings are made from A2-70 austenitic stainless steel.
Magnelis coating offers high corrosion resistance – according to the product description, up to three times greater than hot-dip galvanizing of the same thickness. It also provides protection for cut edges and performs well in environments exposed to chlorides, such as areas where road salt is used and coastal regions, as well as in ammonia-containing atmospheres found, among other places, on farms and in livestock facilities.
The following standards are used in the manufacture of the structure:
EN 1090-1, EN 1090-2, EN 1090-4 – execution of steel and aluminium structures.
PN-EN 1991-1-3 (Eurocode 1) – snow loads.
PN-EN 1991-1-4 (Eurocode 1) – wind loads.
PN-EN 1993-1-8 (Eurocode 3) – design of steel joints.
ISO 9001 – quality management system.
The package contains the components required to assemble the 2x2 version of the structure:
Complete set of steel profiles, including columns, beams and longitudinal members.
30 sets of adjustable side clamps for mounting the panels.
Complete set of A2-70 stainless steel fasteners: bolts, nuts and washers.
Illustrated assembly instructions with step-by-step drawings.
Complete design documentation, including DXF files, certificates and GPSR documentation.
Additional components are required to complete and commission the photovoltaic installation. These are not included in the structural kit:
PV panels – up to 30 units, with maximum dimensions of 1140 × 1950 mm and a thickness of 30–40 mm.
An inverter and, if required, power optimisers.
DC cabling, MC4 connectors and protection devices selected in accordance with the installation design.
AC equipment for the building's distribution board, including a switch-disconnector, surge protection device and residual-current protection devices.
The VICA 2x2 Cars Carport combines covered parking for four vehicles with the option of installing 30 photovoltaic panels. The S350GD steel structure, Magnelis ZM310 coating and A2-70 stainless steel fasteners form the basis of a durable solution for residential, commercial and agricultural applications.
